No, single people are not allowed to sponsor maids in Dubai, UAE.

Step 1: Before you begin the process of recruiting a maid to the UAE, you must ensure that you are qualified to sponsor a domestic worker.

Step 2: Choose one of the Al Safwa packages (we recommend the best flexible monthly package)

Step 3: Prepare documents.

The office is licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, in accordance with the laws in force in the country.​

It is when the domestic worker recruitment office recruits a domestic worker specified by name by the employer, and from outside the domestic worker list registered with the recruitment office.

The employer may place the assistant worker under a probation period for a period not exceeding six months from the date he takes up the job.

The recruitment office is responsible for replacing the assistant worker or refunding the employer all or part of the recruitment amount in the event of one of the following cases:

• Lack of professional competence of the assistant worker. • The assistant worker is not physically fit.

• The assistant worker terminates the contract, or stops working “escaping”.

• The recruitment office does not adhere to the conditions agreed upon with the employer to recruit the domestic worker. (Clarification: That is, the office does not provide an assistant worker according to the specifications that were agreed upon with the employer)

If the employer returns the assistant worker without a reason, and the assistant worker has the desire to continue working.

What is the legal period required to return all or part of the recruitment amount to the employer?

The office is obligated to return the amounts to the employer within (14) days from the date of returning the assistant worker to the recruitment office, or reporting his absence from work to the competent authorities.
